School's back in session, I should be able to survive this semester intact, and what do you know - I'm arting again. (I can hear you going "duh" out there.)
I've got lots of pictures from Vienna (from back in May/June!) but I have yet to go through and pick out properly artistic ones. I promise I'll do that eventually.
The prints I put up today are all outside of classwork, thus why there's not as much information as I normally provide. I think the black figure and white moon will continue to show up for a while as I experiment further. Sorrow, for example, was me trying to convey a particular mood through the print, not just making it in a progression like my earlier moon prints.
I'm starting to wonder if I should order more linoleum. I do still have three 6" square blocks left and no, I'm not intending to make Sorrow into a series with them.
I also wonder if it's strange that, though I am a graphic designer, all the art I do on my own is off the computer. I love working on the computer and the polished look my finished pieces have, but when I want to just make something, it's always a physical thing, not moving a mouse around but holding a pencil over paper and such.
Then again, I've been told that as a designer, it's a great thing to have other media in your portfolio, so I'm almost certain Sorrow will be in there next semester.
That's probably enough rambling for now.

It could be worse! Couldn't it?
